There are thousands of diagnosable diseases.
But generally speaking, there are only a few causes for all chronic conditions.
Western medicine has made miraculous progress with emergency health treatment and surgery techniques but has not done well with chronic illness.
Few cures occur for cancer, heart disease, arthritis, asthma, MS and diabetes.
Doctors generally look to manage symptoms or slow the progress of the disease.
There may be a better way to look at chronic disease.
We believe many answers can be found by looking more closely at cells.
We have over fifty trillion cells in our body. Cells are multifaceted.
They store, repair, communicate, and transport.
Every second of every day your cells are involved with waste disposal, food production, temperature control, and pH balancing to maintain health and vitality.
There are just two situations which cause cellular malfunction – toxicity and deficiency.
This then leads to organ or system dysfunction and then some time later, your doctor can diagnose a disease.
Most of the disease labels are descriptive of the disease and its location but most have the same origins – cellular toxicity and cellular deficiency.
For years Steve and Debbie ran a very busy Bioenergetic Medicine practice in Sydney, inadvertently specialising in cases where doctors had given up on patients or patients had given up on Western Medicine.
While no path achieves perfect results all the time, we saw many miraculous results with chronic conditions when our clients followed our detoxification strategies and our nutritional advice.
The trick is to get the correct detox for each client but the underlying philosophy is the same.
Even in a Paradise like the Sunshine Coast, we are exposed to thousands of toxic chemicals each day.
Over time, they seem to accumulate and when the cells cannot process the toxic load, the blood becomes a river of disease rather than a river of life.
The blood seems to dump the toxicity in the easiest location, which is probably dictated by genetic predisposition and that is where disease develops.
Hence we follow similar disease patterns to our ancestors.
To provide an illustration of toxicity, a study was published in July 2005.
The report by the Environmental Working Group is based on tests of 10 samples of umbilical-cord blood taken by the American Red Cross.
They found an average of 287 contaminants in the blood, including mercury, fire retardants, pesticides and the Teflon chemical PFOA.
“Of the 287 chemicals detected in umbilical-cord blood, 80 cause cancer in humans or animals, 217 are toxic to the brain and nervous system, and 208 cause birth defects or abnormal development in animal tests,” the report said.
If babies who have not taken a breath yet are this toxic, imagine how many chemicals are accumulated over forty or sixty years!
Gentle and safe detoxification methods are available.
Systems exist to identify and monitor toxicity so progress can be easily assessed.
If Western Medicine cannot fix most degenerative diseases when they occur, it makes sense to me to do what we can to avoid developing them in the first place.
